Storage options and indicative rates

Two sites.
One gate.

We run covered sites under a long Colorbond roof and open hardstand sites for anything bigger. Pick the one your rig fits, then ring John to confirm a site and the current rate.

Side by side

Under the roof,
or out in the open.

Same yard, same gate, same people. The difference is whether there is a roof over the top of it and how long your rig is.

A quick way to pick

Which one
do I need?

If your van is under nine metres and you want it out of the sun, take a covered site. A roof is the single best thing you can do for a rig sitting idle in this climate — it keeps the heat off the seals, the decals and the tyres.

If it is twelve metres or longer, or it is a fifth-wheeler, a truck, a horse float or a boat on a tandem trailer, it goes on the open hardstand. There is room to park it and room to get it back out again.

If you only need somewhere to leave it for a week or two while you fly out, the open sites are the cheaper and simpler answer. Covered sites are set up as ongoing rentals.

If you are somewhere in between, or you are not sure what your rig measures, ring John on 0434 718 132 and describe it. He will tell you which site it fits.

The same either way

What you get
whichever you pick.

  • A fully fenced yard with gated access, run by locals who are on site.
  • Access seven days a week, 8AM to 5PM.
  • Water on site, so you can rinse the salt off a boat before it goes away.
  • Power on request if you need to put a charger on something.
  • A wide concrete apron with room to swing a long rig around — no tight corners and no kerbs to clip.
  • Two minutes from Hervey Bay Airport, seven from the Urangan Marina.

Bookings are taken by phone or email

How to book
a site.

There is nothing to fill in online and nothing to pay on this site. Three steps and you are done.

1. Ring or email

Call 0434 718 132 and ask for John, or email Email us. Someone answers between 8AM and 5PM, seven days.

2. Tell him what you have

What it is, how long it is, and roughly how long you need it stored. John will confirm whether a covered or open site suits and what the current rate is.

3. Book a drop-off time

Pick a time inside opening hours, bring the rig to 15 Southern Cross Circuit, and he will put you on your site.

Ready when you are

Give John a ring.

Tell him what you have got and how long you need it stored. He will find you a site. Rates on this page are indicative — ring for the current price.
